DPRK travel video

I’m not a videographer, I much prefer still photography, but practice makes perfect – so they say. What better place to practise my video skills than on our travel blog.

Some of the highlights of our trip to the DPRK, some of the most boring moments, and some distinctively average scenes. At some of the most interesting places we unfortunately weren’t allowed to take photos or video. So they are obviously missing.

All of my slight shaky footage cut down to just under 3 minutes, with no individual shot longer than 5 seconds and just one cinematic movement per scene or none at all, and a vaguely militaristic sound track suitable for the country. I tried to follow all the rules for making a travel video that doesn’t overstretch the viewer’s patience.
